The programme is designed to help Bodyshops, Volvo Approved or other to repair more Volvo vehicles which otherwise would have been declared a total loss by the work provider. Total loss levels have risen dramatically in recent years and many repairers have faced significant reductions in repair volumes therefore the programme will offer an immediate benefits to Bodyshop’s.

How does it work?

Quite simply, where a Bodyshop has carried out a damage assessment that indicates a repair cost which is marginally above the maximum repair value allowed by the work provider, the Bodyshop may apply to Volvo for support in order to make the repair viable. Volvo will offer additional parts margin, provided that both the Bodyshop and Insurer are also taking a flexible approach to the repair costs in order avoid the vehicle becoming a total loss. It is important to process an application quickly in order to reach a prompt agreement with the work provider.

How do you apply?

Bodyshops can apply for support via e-mail to: Borderline@volvobodyandpaint.co.uk or by using the Audatex network code of OAGTLA.

What is the response timescale?

All applications will be responded to within 4 working hours and, provided that all information is provided, a decision will be made at this time and an authorisation number issued.

How will the additional discount be paid?

Once the repairs are completed, the Bodyshop should e-mail scanned copies of purchase invoices for all parts, identified with the authorisation number, to: Borderline@volvobodyandpaint.co.uk
