An Important Update Regarding McNaughton Ross - Volvo Cars Ticehurst

We are writing to share some sad and disappointing news regarding our business, which has proudly operated as a Volvo retailer in Ticehurst for over 25 years.

From Tuesday 23 December 2025, we will be closing our doors for the final time for normal trading. The last workshop bookings at the site will take place on Monday 22 December.

This decision follows a lengthy period of consultation with Volvo UK and careful joint consideration of a number of proposals aimed at improving and modernising the site. Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to agree on a solution that both meets the requirements of today’s customers and vehicles and remains commercially viable for us to operate. As a result, and with heavy hearts, we have reached the difficult decision to close our Ticehurst site.

We sincerely hope, however, that this is not the end of our relationship with our loyal customers at McNaughton Ross. It is very much our intention to retain as many of you as possible, and we would be delighted to welcome you to Volvo Cars Tonbridge.

We are pleased to confirm that all Sales, Service and Parts staff will be relocating to Tonbridge, meaning you will continue to deal with the same familiar and trusted team. We will also be putting arrangements in place to support our customers with loan cars, collection and delivery services, or service-while-you-wait options, according to your preference.

We very much hope you will visit us in Tonbridge and experience the highest levels of service in a comfortable, Scandinavian-inspired setting.
