We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic self-driven person to join the Service Team at our Volvo Dealership in Leatherhead, and support us in delivering an outstanding level of service.
The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their service needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires a blend of customer service skills and mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their service requirements.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed on their vehicles.
- Handle payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced account drawer.
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle performance or longevity.
- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of service requests to optimise customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Experience in upselling services or products is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
