At Squire Furneaux Leatherhead you will soon see some changes taking place as, on Monday 9th May 2022, we commenced an exciting redevelopment of our current showroom, workshop and parts department. Our new look will be in a Scandinavian inspired setting including a customer lounge for you to relax in, an improved showroom layout, handover bay, improved customer parking and a new Volvo Selekt Approved Used Car area. From the showroom, customers will also be able to view their car being serviced or repaired through a glass wall whilst they wait and enjoy refreshments from what will feel like the comfort of their living room.
Unfortunately, for us to carry out these significant changes this will result in some potential disruption and inconvenience to both our valued customers and staff. We are attempting to minimise this by carrying out the redevelopment in different phases and hope this will be concluded by the end of the year at the latest, during which time it will be necessary for us to relocate various departments at different stages of the programme.
To assist with this, we have taken a unit just two doors away from our current premises which will allow us to receive customers, have a car display and administration for much of the period. It is also our intention to open our new Volvo Fulfilment Centre in Portsmouth Road, Thames Ditton, by the end of June. Whilst this will be largely focused on the new generation of electric vehicles, Care by Volvo and Volvo Selekt Approved Used Cars, it will also provide several alternative workshop bays.
Our current workshop and parts departments will remain operational throughout the redevelopment, however this may be at slightly reduced capacity.
We apologise for any inconvenience you may experience during this period but feel confident that the completed outcome will make any disruption worthwhile.
